3D Artists
These artists create
their work using graphical programs that create objects in three dimensions,
much like traditional mechanical CAD (Computer Aided Design) programs.
The objects are assembled from specifically designed pieces, arranged
within a view chosen by the artist, then a 3D program actually "paints"
(renders) the scene, creating lighting, textural, and other effects as
precisely specified by the artist. This skill is highly technical, yet
the better 3D artists bring great artistic talent to the medium as well.
